«Aurinko West & East»
Aurinko stands for sun. The sun is the most important celestial body for the Earth. It is the energy source that emits light and warmth. It provides warmth, vitality, and pure joy of life. The sun has great power and has a positive effect on our body and mind.
Both cottages are located just a few meters away from Lake Rahajärvi and are designed to be cozy and compact. Both cottages have access to a shared outdoor sauna. This glass-enclosed outdoor sauna, with a direct view of the lake, is within a short distance from both cottages. It features a wood-burning stove and a separate relaxation indoor area.
Aurinko West & East are ready since September 2023. They can be booked individually or together, offering the perfect vacation for couples, families, and friends.

Our holiday cottage is located near Ivalo in Lapland in the north of Finland at Lake Rahajärvi. With the EU's northernmost airport located here, Ivalo is the gateway to the north. In the village centre of Ivalo, beautiful and for these latitudes rare sandy beaches invite you to linger by the mighty river Ivalojoki.
